The food here is great. Nothing dry, everything moist and delicious. The Texas armadillo was awesome! Just the right amount of smoke flavor from the brisket trimmings, banana pudding tastes like grandma made it. Quality bbq. The best I've had in a very long time.

Best BBQ I have had since Texas. BBQ sauce has a great level of heat, brisket like butter with perfect crisp ends, ribs tender juicy… Gouda mac… need I say more? Lovely staff, I almost walked out with my makeshift paper bib and the server nicely asked to take it before walking out with it still on. Southern charm level. No frills means it’s good y’all!

This is the best BBQ you will find in Illinois. I’m a veteran of good Q. I’ve spent time in Lockhart and Luling Texas, home to the world’s best BBQ restaurants; Kreuz, Smitty’s, Blacks, City Market, etc. I’ve also spent time in Memphis, North Carolina and Kansas City. My husband drags me to BBQ restraunts every chance he gets. I cringe everytime he says he has a new BBQ place he wants to try. Most are overcooked and dry. We ordered the Sunday rack with the side of cold slaw and Mac and cheese. And it was supposed to be brisket elote bowl but they ran out so they accomidated to this pulled pork elote which was 🔥🔥🔥!!! That in plastic on the side is banana bread 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼. I love the Smokey Thursdays idea.
